Bun B & Boost Mobile to assist with Houston Food Bank

WHAT
To aid in the fight against hunger this holiday season, Boost Mobile has teamed up with Houston hip hop artist, Bun B, to host a food drive to benefit the Houston Food Bank. The event will take place at the Boost Mobile retail store in Westhill Village . Boost Mobile will also be presenting a $5,000 donation to Bun B’s charity of choice, Bethel’s Place, a local community development and outreach center. Houston’s KBXX 97.9 The Box will be onsite broadcasting live with giveaways from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Visitors who drop off five or more cans of food will receive a free ticket to Bun B’s concert taking place that evening, Wednesday, November 25 at 9 p.m. at Hush Nightclub in Houston .

WHEN
Wednesday, November 25
1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

· 1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Opening remarks from Bun B, Maurice Elrod (Boost Mobile spokesperson) and check presentation to Pastor Walter August Jr. of Bethel’s Place

· 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Autograph signing and meet and greet with fans
