D.M. vs. Coolio

What’s happenin’ world? It’s your friend D.M. and I got Coolio to give me a couple minutes of his time. I wasn’t able to get my equipment right before the interview started, so some parts are hard to hear. My fault. Even after doing interviews since 4 a.m., he gave me a couple seconds of freestyle that I had to cut out, ‘cause you can’t understand what he’s saying. (If you want to hear it anyway, leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do.) Another part that is kinda rough, is where he talks about how he got his name. I left that in ‘cause I think that it’s something his fan’s would want to know. He talks about an outfit that he was wearing while playing the guitar and how his people started ‘baggin’ on him. One of his friends asked if he thought he was “Julio Inglesias”, and another created his name. Sorry ‘bout the quality on this one, but it won’t happen again….
