Amante 4 Prez releases “Where’s Your Voice: Obama or McCain” for the Youth

Who said Hip Hop can’t be about politics?   With today’s Hip Hop music glorifying money, cars, women, drugs, and the like, there are very few artists who discuss this history making time in America -- the 2008 Presidential Election – with the first African American candidate running for President and the first female Vice Presidential running mate.  Atlanta and Redd Clayy Entertainment recording artist, Amante (4 Prez), breaks the mold with his 2008 Election inspired song and video “Where‘s Your Voice? Obama or McCain” The song and video’s message conveys the importance of voting in this year’s election and encourages young people to vote on November 4th.

Amante is also in a presidential race himself. He has been pushing the “Amante 4 Prez” campaign for the past two years. Of course, he isn’t running as an elected official for the United States like, Obama and McCain but he is running to be Hip Hop’s next President. Amante believes that today’s Hip-Hop does not address the important issues that America’s youth face.

Amante raps about more than material possessions and he would rather speak about the real issues that regular people face daily. He also keeps it entertaining so he can still reach the youth. Amante believes that Hip-Hop needs a positive leader who can progress the art form and considers himself the right candidate for the job.
