Ok, I’m on that independent skiff at the moment. I was gonna post that joint with Jay Z called “Ain’t I” without the DJ but Nahright had already posted it. Anyway, I got my hands on this youtube video by a new mc called NYCE Da Future. From my point of view, I chose to post this video for 2 reasons. The first is that the song is very inventive in that it uses samples from Michael Sembello’s classic pop hit “Maniac” which was produced in the early 80’s for the movie “FlashDance” (1983). Secondly, after watching this video I was very pleased to see the video girls working it and not sitting around just looking beautiful. If you watch the video, you’ll see this one jumpoff that dances throughout the whole video between scenes. She kinda moves like that Asian chick that use to dance on “Soul Train” back in the day. Definite must see…
