I interviewed this dude Cinque right when I first started scribing for HHR. Dude has always been real with me and incredibly cool with me. I can never discount that. I will forever support Man Up Squad because Cin has always looked out for me with exclusives and a ton of free music. Plus, the homie Preach is fam! (What up, Preach!) In any case, Cin hit me up and told me he was dropping his new shit “Angel Dust.” I asked if I could post it on the site and he obliged. My favorites on this set are: “Keep The Shotty On Me,” “Gettin To The Money,” and “Wait For Luv.”
Cin has a unique flow about him and a wider range of content than most of the shit we hear. Believe it or not, I have balance in my iTunes library. For every Little Brother joint, I got a Scarface joint. That’s what hip hop has always been about. Back in the days we had Public Enemy and Geto Boys rocking at the same time. If it’s dope, I can f*#@ with it! This right here is going on my iPhone… I love the spanish guitar on the intro too… Jiggolo and No ID did some production on “Angel Dust” and you can hear the complexity in many of the songs, reminiscent of Dr. Dre. “U Know You Love It” even flips an Eagles sample!
